Welcome to Books, Booze and Beyond. Thanks so much for stopping by.

So what can you expect from this page? Well… We’re not really sure what all will end up on here. But we can guarantee that it will probably end up being a really random mix of things. There will obviously be a lot of books, probably from various genres depending on our moods. There will be some booze, either recipes for drinks we like or what type of drink is needed when reading a certain book. But there will also be other things that interest us.

Before we get into details, we guess we should introduce ourselves. We are Elizabeth and Jennifer *waves*, two sisters who love to read (and drink). We read some of the same books (Toni Aleo’s Assassin Series and almost all books by Nora Roberts) and a whole lot of different books depending on our mood and our interests at the time. We didn’t get along real well growing up, but now that we are adults (and don’t live near each other) we get along great and enjoy chatting about books and other random things together.

I’m Elizabeth, the older sister and the princess of the family (ask anyone in my family). When I’m not working you can usually find me either reading or napping. I am a huge NASCAR fan (Go #5!) and try to get to as many races as possible every season. I currently live in my home town, but am considering a move to Charlotte (I would just have to find a job and a place to live first).  

I’m Jennifer. I am an avid reader who also loves to do crafty type things and watch sports (especially baseball). I work full time as well as I am a mommy to 3 beautiful children. When not reading or crafting or playing with the kids, I like to go on dates with my hubby, which obviously doesn’t happen all that often with 3 busy kids.

 So back to what you can expect to see on this page, there will probably end up being some posts about craft projects that Jennifer has completed. There will be posts about the oils Elizabeth likes to use for various things. We might throw in a post or two about fashion trends that we love or even hate (just because things are trendy, doesn’t mean they are cute). Both of us are trying to lose weight all the time so there maybe posts about recipes we like or things that we have found to help with weight loss. All we know is we plan to have fun with this. Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see on here, if it interests us too, we will definitely post something about it.
